BIOGRAPHY

Katerina Stavrou is a contemporary visual artist based in Larnaca, Cyprus. She began her studies in 2007 at Salford University where she followed “Visual Arts” and then continued at Manchester Metropolitan University where she graduated in 2011 BA Hons “Fine Art” with distinction. After completing her studies, she undertaken “Art Criticism” short course in Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and followed a mentoring program in Debut Contemporary Art Platform in London. Stavrou, wanting to constantly expand her horizons, gained a Master’s degree in “Cultural Policy and Development” from University of Cyprus in 2019.Stavrou has participated in many international art fairs and group shows in the US, UK, UAE, Europe and Japan. She has shown her art work in three solo exhibitions until today. Stavrou’s artwork belongs to the Cyprus Public Collection of Art, corporate collections and various international private collectors.
